My Personal Teaching Philosophy
Scott Manyon, PGA apprentice professional
My goal is to help every student reach levels of achievement above and beyond their expectations. I’ll help accomplish this by keeping in mind that individuals are unique and have different physical abilities, strengths, and flexibility. People from all age groups, male and female, learn differently; visually, kinesthetically and verbally.
Remember, golf is a game and should be enjoyed. Learning and playing golf should be fun, not frustrating. My personal desire is to help you enjoy this game that I love so much.
I believe there is not one set specific way to swing a golf club. Strength, flexibility, body type and athletic ability, along with determination and desire, are important components that will allow you to become the best golfer you can be. I want to help you achieve your goals.
If you need help on any part of your game, from a 10 minute tune-up to a series of lessons, come see me and we’ll work on your game together. If there is anything that I can help you with, big or small, let’s talk about it.
