JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM

This program is designed to teach children ages 8 to 18 years old, the game of golf and how to play competitive golf.  The junior golf program will have two practices a week, starting the first week in May and go through July.

This is a program that is for all levels of golf, from the very beginner to the advanced junior golfer. The practices are designed to teach all aspects of the game including: etiquette, basic rules of golf, course management, putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, partial shots, full swings, what clubs to use when and specialty or trouble shots.

We will practice two days per week-either Monday & Wednesdays or Tuesday & Thursday.  We will try to divide practices based on ages.  This year we will be focusing on improving not only the physical skills needed for golf, but also on how to prepare for a round of golf, how to save strokes by using better mental approach, and ways to improve your game away from the golf course. We encourage all golfers to attend as many practices as possible, but there are no minimum or maximum requirements for attendance. Practices are approximately 55 minutes per session.
